RESOURCES – MANAGING YOUR HOME  (Day 6 of 7)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)

In terms of managing the physical aspects of your home, there are a bazillion books, blogs, and YouTube videos available. I also like reading the occasional hospitality book to remind myself to nurture everyone who comes in my home.

If you are looking for help with a specific area of your house, HomeStorageSolutions101.com is a good resource. I also like Minimal Mom on YouTube (she dejunks far heavier than I do, but she has a sweet attitude and good helps). There are also several YouTubers that buy thrift items to decorate their homes (fair warning, it’s a fairly addictive time sink).

As to the other aspects of managing a home, that’s going to pull from a number of places – marriage and parenting, building healthy boundaries, creating a budget, and more. I would like to hear your recommendations for anything that has helped with your home life. I’d like to create a page on the website for marriage resources.

A good friend (thanks, Diana!) shared her sourdough starter with Paul.

His first try was bread using the discard starter mix (you have to feed your starter regularly and if you don’t use it, you share it or discard it). Well, Paul’s not about to discard an opportunity to try something new. It was very yummy!
