ROADBLOCKS – DON’T ASSUME  (Day 4 of 7)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)

I’ll own I tend I to think I know what’s going on. And assumptions take much less work and effort than actually taking the time to ask questions and find out more details. That’s ego and laziness on my part.

note saying don't assume

I think also sometimes we take an assumption and give it way too much worth, tying it to our own worth. Of course, we’re right. We can’t be wrong. Then we can’t admit our misunderstanding, set it down, and pick up the truth.

Assumptions are messy all around.

What makes it easy for you to make assumptions? What makes it hard for you to set them down?
