From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. James 3:10 ESV
Spend the day examining your words. Are your words a blessing or a curse?
Some words are just informational (like, “I’ve got a dentist appointment at two.”). Do try to speak those words with a gracious or respectful tone to make them a blessing.
Lots of “please”and “thank you” are good too.
I started some blackberry plants in the spring. I wasn’t expecting fruit this year, but we have a few blossoms.
I won’t let the plants get too carried away with fruiting (they’re young plants), but I’ll leave a few so Paul and I can have a small snack.
