Another day of practice. Let’s bless folks with our words!
From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. James 3:10 ESV
As an exercise, when a person walks near you, ask yourself how you feel about them. Are you struggling with them? Can you ask God for a desire to bless them?
What could you say that would be kind or encouraging? What hard words do you need to set down or rephrase?
Poor Tilly was on the losing end of a cat fight. A visit to the vet and a cone of shame later, she is at home and doing fine (though the cone did not last long).
(She was due for her yearly shots anyhow. That’s what she’s telling all her kitty friends.)
