GENTLE WORDS (Day 5 of 6)
Need to start at the beginning? Day 1
Let’s give this another day of practice.
A soft and gentle and thoughtful answer turns away wrath, but harsh and painful and careless words stir up anger. Proverbs 15:1 AMP
As you start any conversation, ask yourself how you can frame your words thoughtfully with gentleness.
Discussions invariably end on the same note as they begin. John Gottman

A harder thing is to respond well when you are interrupted or caught off guard, but you can do it!

I have a good friend that gave me a Red Birds in a Tree cutting years ago.

It’s weathered many years now. The hummingbirds love it and it is a sweet reminder of my friend Sharon. (The plant in the background is the lemon balm that is taking over my garden.)
