So, I started my August challenge a couple of days ago. I’m going all Atomic Habits where you start small and doable.
It’s already making a huge difference in our kitchen and in my personal habits.
I also have a list of three (usually small, but somewhat important) things I need to get done that day. I have a website banner I’ve been promising myself to get done for weeks now and it keeps falling through the cracks.
I listed it as one of my three things to get done on my first day.
It took ten minutes.

Boy, do I feel silly.
Actually, after feeling quite silly, I’m really very encouraged. It’s so nice to know that as I think of things, I can add them to my list of to-do items and they’ll actually get done.
I also have a couple of books I’ve been planning to read (and haven’t touched a page). My new goal is to read five pages a day. That’s so easy it’s pfffft! I can read more if I like, but I’m creating the habit of reading each day.

Isn’t this so pretty?

It’s a mix of purple and green sage. I joined Linda (the other MIL on our property) in her garden. I so enjoy seeing all the fun plants she is growing.
