HAVE A PLAN, WORK THE PLAN (Day 1 of 6)
As most of you know, I garden. I make a garden plan each year, plant seeds, water, weed, and more. Eventually, I start seeing the fruit (and veggies) of all that hard work.

If I didn’t have a plan and work the plan, my garden would look pretty sad.
The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. Proverbs 21:5 ESV
As I work in the garden, I see many concepts played out (ask me about weeds sometime) and many of those concepts can be applied to life and relationships as principles.
Planning with diligent follow through will make things happen. Certainly, there are circumstances (like weather and bugs) that can make an impact, but the principle is overall trustworthy.
Let’s take today and let God talk to our hearts about plans and diligent efforts as a way of making good change. Plans for gardening are fine, but I’m thinking more about plans and effort that will build your marriage or areas of your life that could use a bit of help.

Have y’all heard of ground cherries? I’m growing them this year for fun.

They’re similar to tomatillos and are a part of the tomato family. When ripe, the husk comes off and they taste like sweet, tropical cherries.
