HAVE A PLAN, WORK THE PLAN (Day 3 of 6)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)
Give some thought to an area of your marriage or general life where you would like to see some change.
The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. Proverbs 21:5 ESV
For example, let’s say you are feeling rather distant from your spouse. You’re concerned you are drifting apart.
Think back to those times when you were close and really enjoyed being a couple. What did you do together? What made that time special?
Then make a plan. 🙂
Let’s say you used to enjoy playing tennis together.

Do you know where your tennis rackets are? Are they in good shape? Where is the nearest tennis court? When would be a good time to invite your sweetie to play?
Perhaps it’s sex. What has been meaningful and intimate in the past? What do you need to recreate that again? Are you too busy and tired? What can you cut back on to make more time for your spouse? Is there something that needs to be worked out between the two of you? When would be a good time to talk?
Basically, you are looking for an area in your life or marriage where you would like to see a bit of change. Start simply. Gather what you need. Step through the process. If it involves another person, how can you best invite them to join you?

Paul and I have never been able to grow carrots. Germination? Soil? Temperature? Not sure what the problem has been.

I pulled these today. I’m so proud.
