REFLECTION AND PRACTICE

AN EXTRA WEEK –  (Day 1 of 6)

We have a whole week to reflect on and practice our past three concepts.

WORK YOUR PLAN – be intentional about lovin’ your spouse.
BE OPEN TO REASON – listen to understand.
DRAW THEM CLOSE – invite your spouse to draw near.

Of these three concepts, which was the easiest for you? Which was harder to practice and develop?

I know I write a marriage blog, but I’ll let y’all in on a little secret … I am romantically challenged.

What?! you say. Yup, it’s true.

ROMANTIC NINJA

But here’s the thing, We can grow past our natural weaknesses. I will probably never be a romantic ninja, but I can understand the nature of romance, learn to do romantic things, and say romantic things. With practice, I can get better.

So this week, I’ll be “planning” to “draw my sweetie close.”

What will you do today? This week?

Have y’all ever seen a mill in action?

SWEETIE & SON MILLING WOOD

I love mechanical things, so I find it fascinating. Here’s my sweetie and son milling logs harvested from our property to make corner fence posts. It helps clear our land a bit and saves a pretty penny.
