THINK POSITIVE (Day 1 of 6)
Our thought life greatly shapes our lives and our marriages.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 ESV
Positive thinking, in line with scripture, has the power to create love-colored glasses.
I’m not saying we should lie to ourselves about the bad and difficult things in our lives. I’m saying that having a positive and faith-filled mindset is lovely. It’s even life changing.
As a concept, let’s talk to God today about our thought life. Think about what would it be like to focus our thought life on those things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, and excellent.
