BE LOYAL (Day 2 of 6)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)
Thinking about loyalty …
But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” Ruth 1:16-17 ESV
Have you ever considered the concept of loyalty? I don’t think I’ve given it too much thought.

My marriage vows implied loyalty without stating it outright. I’ve stood with people in difficult situations, but I’m not sure if I would have considered it as an expression of loyalty.
I’m going to have to give this some serious thought today. Ruth’s example is pretty amazing. Where have I stood in regard to loyalty? Could I have taken this more seriously?
How about you? What have you experienced of loyalty?

Paul and I were out late the other night for a birthday party.

The moon was lovely.
