AN EXTRA WEEK – (Day 2 of 6)
Here are our four concept to consider and practice this week.
THINK POSITIVE – focus on the good stuff.
BE THERE – when the hard times hit.
BE LOYAL – stand strong with your spouse.
GROW IN STABILITY – major on understanding and knowledge.
Kathy made a lovely comment to yesterday’s post. (Thanks!)
I’ve been working on positive thinking for years, camping out in Phil 4 :). I recently made a computer list of good things to think about & just opening it, even if I don’t read any of it, makes me smile :). It’s a good antidote when my mind starts going negative :).
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 ESV
We all need those reminders to keep us on track.

I used to have a line each day in my daily planner as a spot to write down something I was grateful for. Dozens, then hundreds of positive things to set my mind on.
Where will you focus your mind today? What scriptures or ideas keep you focused on the good?

This is a new one for me. I’ve dried paprika peppers, so I can grind them to make my own paprika.

It was a fun project. (I try to do a couple of new things in the garden each year. They don’t always work, but it’s fun to play.)
