I’ve mentioned I do too much and bottom out energy wise.
A part of that is not being smart about my to-do list and some of that is aging. Though I’ve been struggling, thinking I shouldn’t be quite that tired.
Hold that thought …
My sweetie is going to a men’s conference shortly. They are using John Eldridge’s book Resilient as their focus. So I thought, you know, I should just buy the book and read it so Paul and I are on the same page when he gets back.
Well, I started the book early and it was written just for me. Really. 🙂
Eldridge talks about our reserve energy and how that can get depleted. Then we are more likely to bottom out and give up. It was such a relief to hear him put the reason for my inner tiredness to words.
I love his thoughts on how to rebuild your energy reserves and become more resilient. If you are feeling worn out, the book might be just for you too! 🙂

I just got my order of quail eggs in the mail today. [happy dance]

One day to rest after their bumpy ride and then they’ll spend 18 days in an incubator. Pictures to follow.
