I mentioned that my sweetie, Paul, went to a men’s retreat recently.
I used that time to work on projects at my pace without any interruption (OK, the grandkids wandered in a time or two). I went to bed when I was tired and ate meals when I got hungry.
It was fun to have that time to myself, but at about day two I really started to miss my man. When he got home, I was so grateful to have him back.

Gratitude has such a lovely effect on my heart and mind. I’m going to major in it for a while, maybe for a long while or a lifetime.
What are you grateful for with your spouse? Think of a few things and share them with your sweetie today.

My recent adventure with gratitude includes writing down something I’m grateful for each day in my bullet journal.

Large, small, serious, or silly. Gratitude rocks.
