REFLECTION AND PRACTICE

AN EXTRA WEEK –  (Day 6 of 6)

How did your week go?

BE IN HARMONY WITH OTHERS – play well together.
SERVE OTHERS – ’cause you love them.
BE CONTENT – ’cause God is your provider.

I got in some good practice, with a couple of thoughts.

Practical: Try to touch base once or twice a week to compare calendars, wants/desires, and prayer needs. It makes it easier to serve each other and there are fewer logistical mishaps.

COUPLE TALKING ABOUT THEIR WEEK

Heart Attitude: Drop judgement. It doesn’t mean that bad isn’t bad or that you are terribly wrong. Yes, we need to address what needs to be changed, but in general, judgement is more about preferences and it hangs us up in our ability to serve or work with others. My two cents.

Enjoy your weekend!

For those of you who like to make homemade Christmas ornaments and enjoy crocheting, here is a cute idea (this is on a website that I created a few years ago).

GRANNY SQUARE ORNAMENTS

Use your scrap yarn and ornaments from Dollar Tree (they are plastic and won’t shatter like glass if you drop them). Start now to have plenty for tree decorating and holiday gift giving.
