NIX THE ENVY & BOASTING (Day 3 of 6)

Let’s practice a bit.
Love does not envy or boast. 1 Corinthians 16:4b ESV
Take the day to examine your thoughts and words.
Do your words reflect being down on yourself (what are you comparing yourself to?) or that you need to boast (for attention or appreciation?). Pay special attention to your interactions with your spouse.
Let God help you see where and how these things creep into your life. Ask Him what He would like for you to do instead. Practice that.
We’re finishing out another space for a new bedroom. This is a lifter to hold the sheet rock to the ceiling.
It’s so lovely to have a son in construction. He has all the cool tools. 🙂
