WORDS, WORDS, WORDS (Day 1 of 6)
Over the holiday season, I watched and listened. (People watching is an occupational hazard as well as a personal hobby.)
That said, I saw a lot of good, bad, and everything in between when it came to relationships. One thing that did a lot of damage was the misuse of words. And, thankfully, a lot of good was done with words too.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14 ESV
I’d like to spend a week working with words.
God has a lot to say about words. Scripture mentions words that are gentle, wise, truthful, thoughtful, gracious, and more. These all have good fruit. The opposite leads to rotten fruit that hurts everyone.

Take the day and let God speak to your heart about the power of words and what kind of words need to come out of our mouths.

We got bombed by snow again.

Thankfully, one of the guys on the property has a snow plow blade on his truck and keeps our long driveway clear, and we are on a school bus route, so our roads are relatively clear.
