SAY/DO NOTHING (Day 1 of 6)
After all this practice on saying and doing, I wondered about not saying and not doing. Where would that take us?
There is the unhealthy “say/do nothing” that means we let important stuff go undone or we let people go without what they need. (For example, not saying please and thank you, or not doing what you promised to do.) Check out James 4:17.

Then there is the healthy “stay in your own lane” say/do nothing, where we respect others’ personhood or boundaries. (For example, I don’t give unasked for opinions to my son and DIL. They did the leave and cleave thing, and they need the elbow room to build their own family culture.)
I was thinking about all this and, boy howdy, do we need wisdom. We need the heart to help, but the wisdom to know when to speak/do and when not to.
Let’s take the day and mull over all these concepts. Where does wisdom say “don’t speak” and “don’t do”?

More winter weather and more cold coming. (Y’all stay warm and bundled up!)

It’s biting cold, but the ice coating on trees is gorgeous.
