SAY/DO NOTHING (Day 2 of 6)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)
This week we’re exploring the wisdom to know when to speak/do and when not to.
Take the time today to think about action/inaction and speaking/not speaking in your life and marriage.

Where has silence or inaction been helpful? When has it been more hurtful? What made the difference?
Where have you seen a wise balance of between the two? Who does it well?
Make the day about examining your past, especially where it has played out in your marriage.

Temperatures in the low teens (Farenheit). Brrrrr!

I find that it is difficult for me to speak up when something tense is happening, usually with my kids. I tend to back down and say little in order to avoid conflict. Usually I think that I am correct in doing this, but lately I’ve seen the need for me to speak up in response to what they are doing that is wrong. I can talk about things with my husband but find it hard with my teenagers. I’m trying to find a balance.
There is certainly a learning curve with the speak/don’t speak concept. Praying for you and your teens (been there, got the tshirt). :)
