STOP THE SCOFFING (Day 1 of 6)
I was looking through Proverbs for a concept to use, and came across this.
Drive out the scoffer, and contention will go away; even strife and dishonor will cease. Proverbs 22:10 AMP
Scoffing seems to be a real cause of strife!
I didn’t realize how destructive it could be. Some of what seems very socially acceptable is really quite damaging and creates ongoing contention.
Scoff: speak to someone or about something in a scornfully derisive or mocking way.
Let’s spend the day talking to God about His perspectives on scoffing. What does it look like? What are the smaller, sneakier versions of scoffing?
