SELF-EXAMINATION – VALUE OTHERS  (Day 2 of 7)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)

Looking at your past, how willing have you been to value others and be in their corner? What was modeled in your family of origin? Have you been able to value your spouse? (And for some of us, do you value yourself enough?)

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2:3-4

There needs to be this healthy awareness of everyone’s needs and wants, and a willingness to serve. (I’m seeing some humility and self-sacrifice in that scripture too.)

it is all about me or you dice

Take the day to examine your life and the various ways that you and others have served and valued folks. What are good examples of this? Bad?
