ROAD BLOCKS (Day 4 of 7)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)
I usually stall out when a project or responsibility gets too large and overwhelming.
Whoever is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys. Proverbs 18:9 ESV
I know the best way to deal with something large is by breaking it down into small steps, but I don’t always get past the overwhelm. And on big projects, small steps just seem so s-l-o-w (but I will actually get there, so I suck it up and take baby steps).
Yesterday I realized how damaging some of my undone projects could be, so I’m fairly motivated to work through them.
I think also I need to do better about asking for help when I need it. Cousin to that is asking others to help me brainstorm when I feel stuck.
