ROADBLOCKS – DO IT!  (Day 4 of 7)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)

So what stalls out action? What makes it difficult to follow through and do something?

Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:18 ESV

Busyness is a common culprit. Sometimes I have the best of intentions, the day gets busy, and suddenly it’s bedtime and I didn’t get around to taking action on my plans.

I’ll own that sometimes I’m not sure what to do. If you can’t talk to your sweetie (for whatever reason), there’s nothing wrong with a little trial and error. Love on them in various ways and see what makes an impression.

trial and error blocks balanced on a risk block

Fear of failure can make things difficult. Perhaps start small, so the risk feels small.

Perfectionism means you aren’t likely to try unless you can get it perfectly right. Toss that one. This is trial and error territory. Small, even really messy attempts, are a success!

What makes action more difficult for you? How can you combat the problem?
