SECOND TRY – BE KIND  (Day 5 of 7)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)

Spend a little extra time thinking about your spouse today (you might want to have a conversation as well). What does kindness look like in your marriage?

Love is … kind …  1 Corinthians 13:4b ESV

What does your spouse need in the way of kindness?

Sometimes it’s silly little things. Paul hates to wash flatware. Forks and spoons are small and fussy when it comes to using his larger hands. So, I’m the elected dishwasher (and he does most of the cooking). It’s a kindness thing.

More seriously, we edit each other’s blog posts (it’s easy to miss something) and he blesses me with his techie skills, while I help him with images.

Certainly there are big, kind actions we can make, but the small ones are often closer to the heart and they add up over time (my hubby fixes my coffee every morning we are both home).

What small act of kindness can you do for your spouse today?
