God lavishes His grace (often defined as undeserved favor) on us. It’s such an amazing gift!

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV

Then, in the power of His grace, He calls us to be like Him and offer the same grace to others. (I’m thinking about the parable of the unmerciful servant and all the verses that tell us to love and take care of each other.)

Sometimes it’s really hard to be kind to others, forgive them, or take care of them when they are not behaving the way we think they should.

I’d like to remind ya’ll that God’s grace came to us when we were still sinners, like total messes that didn’t deserve anything, and God still made a way for us to become family.

Let’s spend the day thinking about this amazing gift and what that might look like in offering it to others.
