As you work on making your home more welcoming and convenient for you and your spouse, what problems do you find?
Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 1 Peter 4:9 ESV
My home is still under construction, and we’re playing shuffle the boxes and bins (cat heaven).
I have found, however, that the larger problem is just too much stuff. As the seasons change, there are items I don’t use anymore. I’m handing them off and making room for the items I do use. Honestly, it’s been a little hard for me to let go of some of the things I have enjoyed in the past, but no longer have a use for.
Paul and I are also talking about what makes our home work for us. We’ve been guest focused (which is not a bad thing), but we also need to take care of ourselves. We’re trying to think differently about the space in our home and how we might use it. It’s a slightly different mindset.
