This is a familiar scene in Washington state where I live.
Trucks rumble up and down the roads carrying large loads of newly cut logs.
Seeing them up close gives new meaning to this verse.
First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:5 ESV
Let’s take this week to consider what this might mean for us. Not saying we shouldn’t deal with the problems that other folks bring to the table, just that we’re being asked to look at and deal with our own stuff first.
