SELF-EXAMINATION (Day 2 of 7)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)
In context, this scripture is about making judgements.
First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:5 ESV
For me, it’s about how easily I can judge others without really seeing that often I am just as guilty in one way or another. Wisdom dictates that I deal with my issues first.
The other day I was grousing (in my head) about how Paul had started his morning. Then I paused and evaluated my morning. Hmmm. I have a log or two to deal with.
How about you? Take some time today and examine how you handle judgements, especially where your spouse is concerned.

Sometimes you criticize a chore my Hubby has done in my head, then I remember that if you had done that when I was supposed to . . . We all have our first way of doing things. 💛
I’m finding that context is important.
I get fussy and then I become aware of a fuller picture. That usually takes the fussiness down a notch or two.
