CONCLUSIONS (Day 7 of 7)

I used to be a “nail down every detail” person. Now I’m a “simplify, simplify, simplify” person. I still do details, but for far fewer events and holiday responsibilities. I’m learning to enjoy the social part of social events (I’m an introvert, so this is a bit harder than it sounds).
And, I’m more into the why of holidays. I want the birthday person to know that I’m glad they were born, and at Thanksgiving I make sure to give many thanks to God and all the people in my life.
I’m also learning to speak up about all the good I see and find a way to celebrate it, if only to say, “Wow, you did a great job on that project!” with a cool drink in hand for the hard worker.
Let’s celebrate more often. 🙂
