CONCLUSIONS – REGULAR PRAYER  (Day 7 of 7)
(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)

So, how did your prayer-focused week go? How did it impact your prayer for your spouse and marriage?

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.  Colossians 4:2 NIV

I’m enjoying my new habits. Every morning I talk to God about my husband and marriage right after I read my devotional. I have a couple of hit-the-ground-running days and if I don’t get to my devotional and prayer, I don’t sweat it, I just keep rolling and pick it back up the next day or add it to my afternoon prayer.

My afternoon prayer time (with phone alarm) helps me slow my day a bit. The alarm goes off, and I look for a comfortable place to talk to God about anything and everything.

What prayer habits were you able to create or renew? What areas of your marriage need ongoing prayer?

I need ongoing artsy-fartsy in my life, so I’ve been looking around at options. I’ve narrowed it down to a couple of things. I just ordered some tools to do dot artwork (check out her other videos, they are amazing) and next month I hope to order a paint-by-number picture. (There are so many choices, I’ll need a month to narrow it down. The link is my top choice so far.)
