(Need to start at the beginning? Day 1)

The first place my mind went was spiritual disciplines.

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 ESV

What is a spiritual discipline? You might ask. It’s a practice you’ve made into a habit that helps you stick closer to God. Googling the term will give you a number of ideas, but the basics are things like prayer, Bible study, worship, fellowship, fasting, and service.

What activities help you stay in tune with God? For me, it’s quiet time (prayer and Bible) and service to others, but a walk out in nature sure has a lovely effect on my heart. So does gardening. (Hmm. Playing in the dirt as a spiritual discipline? It could work.)

Which disciplines help you rest in Him and desire to do life His way?
