(Need to start at the beginningDay 1)

Our three concepts to think about and practice this week:

chose your words carefully – be a blessing
celebrate – ’cause He is good all the time
seek calm quiet moments – for reflection and enjoyment

Do y’all keep a journal?

I’ve been trying to write at least a couple of sentences each day in my journal and it does have a quieting and reflective quality about it.

If you are struggling to quiet yourself, try picking up a small notebook and pen to journal. Even if your entries are a bit boring at first (I went to the library and did some grocery shopping), it will build the habit of pausing in your day to reflect about life.

It can also be a tool to grow your marriage. Write down your thoughts, write down what you are grateful for, sound out solutions to problems, or write lists of things that would make good gifts for your sweetie.

Many thanks to those who have given to our yearly fund-raising. We’re off to a great start! Your support makes it possible for us to give all our time to helping couples grow their marriage.
