This week’s concept is a spinoff of last week’s. With Christmas just around the corner, I thought it might be nice to play around with more grace – specifically with our words.

Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. Proverbs 16:24

Now doesn’t that sound like something we could use as family and friends gather?

People will be awkward and sometimes thoughtless in what they say or do. Some gifts will be … less than what was desired.

Folks will be tired, perhaps cranky, and then there is Uncle Simon (or perhaps Grandma Louise).

Let’s spend the day talking to God about gracious words. Ask Him to help you see this concept through His eyes. Are there people you know that have a particularly gracious way of speaking? What can you learn from them?

My old incubator died, so I bought a MaticoopX (next level up and gorgeous) and started some eggs.

I now have over 20 newly hatched chicks (mostly hiding under the heat plate). I’m waiting to see if any more pop out.
